CORE SERVICES The SAGE Core Service produces basic land use / land cover products used by all SAGE services for further modelling. With the new type of information created in this core service, SAGE service providers and other interested stakeholders have access to improved data quality	(i.e. higher resolution, improved thematic content, better spatial accuracy, and topicality - compared to existing data). In addition, the information is aligned to catchment borders rather than those of administrative units, thus fulfilling WFD demands.
	INDICATORS Indicators have been developed for both AquaSAGE and SoilSAGE products. These indicators are considered valuable top-level information that serves for (political) decision-making. They act as a basis for monitoring and evaluating the development of the environmental situation at stake.
